How should I install the software?
Click on the “Download Program” button on the website. You are prompted to Run or Save the installation programme. Click the run button if you wish to download and install the programme in one step, or click the save button if you prefer to save the setup file to you hard disc for installation at a later time.
Once the downloading process is completed successfully you may be prompted if you want to install the software. Click “Yes” to start the installation, or locate the installation file, and double click it if you have saved it to your hard drive first.
Then just follow the instructions provided by the install program to complete the installation. The installation software will prompt you to specify a file path for your installation folder. Do not modify this unless you feel it is necessary and are sure you will remember where you placed the install files!

How can I remove the software?
Our software can be removed from your computer as follows:
Windows 2000/XP:

Mac users have to locate and then delete the complete application folder manually as there is no uninstall routine included with the program. This can be found in: Macintosh hard disc > Applications > AT&T Williams. The complete AT&T Williams folder should dropped in the Trash. Mac users will find their projects saved in a separate location: Macintosh hard disc > Users > My documents > AT&T Williams albums.

How can I save a product?
The software will prompt you to save a project when you close the program. You can also save a product by clicking the 'Save' button at the top of the menu. The project file will be saved in directory My documents > AT&T Williams Albums’. You may change the folder where your projects are saved by using the menu: "Options" > "Settings".

Where can I find a saved photo album or calendar?
You can find saved project files in folder ‘My documents > AT&T Williams Albums’.  Mac users will find their projects saved in a separate location: Macintosh hard disc > Users > My documents > AT&T Williams albums. Your albums may be stored in a different location on your hard disk. Note: if you have lost your project file, just search your computer for any document names that contain the file extension ".ifb".

What file formats does the software support?
The following file formats are compatible with the AT&T Williams software:
jpeg, jpg, png, bmp,  gif. Other file formats can be converted (prior to use) into one of the above formats, using image editing software such as Photoshop , Photopaint or other image editing software. The pictures can be RGB,  sRGB, CMYK, greyscale or black and white.

Is my digital camera compatible with the software?
We recommend using the highest image quality setting when taking pictures with your digital camera, particularly if you intend using any of the A3 size items from our range of products. For the A3 items you should use 6 megapixel setting or above to avoid resolution warning messages.

What requirements should my computer have to run the software?
Minimum Requirements Include: Windows 2000 or Windows XP, 1.22 GHz CPU, 256 MB RAM, 32 MB video RAM. The optimal setup to run the software would be the following: Windows XP or Windows Vista, 3 GHz CPU, 512 MB+ RAM, 64 MB+ video RAM.
Macintosh users should have Mac OS X, dual 18.Ghz processor, 512 MB RAM.

Do I need to update the software?
The AT&T Williams editor software will undergo continual regular updates. We advise you to update the editor when prompted. Every time you start the AT&T Williams editor it will check to see if a new version is available. Over a period of time we aim to improve the functionality of the software, and introduce new editing features and additional items into the product line-up.

Questions about creating a product

How do I get access to the online AT&T Williams photo gallery
An active internet connection will be needed to access the online AT&T Williams gallery containing a selection of the latest grand prix pictures and images from previous races that have been archived. New images will be added after each race throughout the Formula 1 racing season. A low resolution image is displayed for use when compiling your projects in the AT&T Williams editor.

Note: when the AT&T Williams tab is selected in the top left navigation section of the screen this will begin to display the folders containing pictures from a photo library archive. These items are downloaded onto the hard drive of your computer within the AT&T Williams editor directory. The pictures do have copyright protection and can only be used within the editor.  The editor can be used during the download of the pictures, however a dropped internet connection may cause the program to crash. In this event, restart the software, click the online tab, and the download of pictures will recommence.

Will the frame be printed if I don't place any text or photograph in it?
Image placeholders and text fields are not printed on the background if the frame does not contain a photograph or text. Additionally, the lines around the image placeholders and text fields will not be printed.

Can I just copy and paste text from a Microsoft Word file into my project file?
Yes, this is possible. This is a good method of preparing larger quantities of text as it will allow you to spell check your work. MS Word will also allow you to create and apply multiple tabs, customise bullets, use tables and many other advanced features not available in the AT&T Williams photo text editor.

What can I do about image resolution warning messages?
‘When I go to order my project, I see resolution warning messages on the first order page’. This message warns of images that are below the ideal recommended print resolution. The threshold for this warning message is 180 dpi. It is possible to continue on and ignore the warning; however the affected images may begin to lack sharpness, or produce a pixelated result when printed.  You may want to use a picture from a camera phone, or a scan of an old picture where the resolution may not be very high.  By all means include them in your project, however we are not in a position to guarantee the results.

Can I burn my project to CD and sent it to you in the post
We are currently unable to support the submission of projects via CD.

I placed my order, but I didn't pay yet. How can I pay?
Your order will only be processed and put in production after we have received your payment. In the event that the payment fails, we advise you to place a new order and complete the payment. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your payment has been accepted. This email is automatically generated and contains all of the essential details of your payment. If you continue to have problems please email: enquiries@attwilliamsephoto.com

My payment had been placed in ‘Fraud Shield’, what do I do next?
Due to the security settings of the HSBC payment website, some payments may be placed in ‘fraud shield’. Following a checking procedure that prevents fraudulent card use, payment is taken and requires no further intervention by the customer.

I have just placed my order. When will I receive my product?
Your product will be dispatched by Royal Mail in approximately 3 working days.

I placed an order but I didn't receive a confirmation by e-mail. Why?
It may be possible that you entered an incorrect e-mail address. If you entered an incorrect or different e-mail address then the order confirmation e-mail will be sent to the wrong address. As this process is fully automated we cannot resend the e-mail. However, your order will be processed and shipped.

I need to send items to more than one delivery address
If you need to send items to more than one address, you will have to upload the item for each required address. We are working with our software developers to re-integrate multiple delivery addresses in a future update of the software.

Do you offer a discount when I order 10 or more products?
If you wish to order 10 or more identical photobooks, please contact us by email: enquiries@attwilliamsephoto.com

I would like to get another copy of my product. What should I do?
In order to print another copy of your product we need you to place a new order. Please do so by reopening your product in the software and complete the ordering procedure again.

I just received my order, but something seems not correct. What should I do?
When your product doesn't have the quality that you might expect, check your project file: were some of these errors in the original file you sent to us? In this case, there is not much we can do. The software is simply a design tool: it cannot make a quality book without your input and effort. However, if you believe that there were errors in the finished product that do not exist in your project file, please contact us by email. We will try to investigate what went wrong, determine if the error occurred during production, and try to find a satisfactory solution.

Can I make changes to my album after having placed my order?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to make changes after you have uploaded your album file, and filled out all of the shipping and payment information screens. For this reason, it is imperative that you must check and double-check your album before making your order.

Can I cancel my order?
Once you've uploaded your order and completed the payment procedure, you're order is automatically taken into production. It is not possible to cancel your order at this point. Not satisfied? Return your product to us and we will investigate the problem. If you experience difficulties with payment going through or suspect that you may have duplicated an order unintentionally, please contact us via email: enquiries@attwilliamsephoto.com
